ITAP Director
DePauw University, Greencastle, IN

Manage the Information Technology Associates Program, an internship program that blends the benefits of technology-based experiential learning with a liberal arts education. Essential functions include managing staff, recruiting and marketing to prospective students, coordinating on-campus events, and collaborating with university offices to build relationships with current students and alumni.

ITAP Digital Video Instructor
DePauw University, Greencastle, IN

Responsible for hosting a course each year, in addition to multiple workshops lead for faculty and staff, on digital video production and media analysis. Students gain experience with framing and lighting concepts, audio recording, storytelling and non-linear editing with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as digital distribution methods. Students are also allowed to explore semiotic concepts behind production through the study and visual criticism of film, video, and photography.

Professional Experience

Videographer and editor for and the Lounge Sessions in Indianapolis, IN. These sessions involve coordinating and filming live performances of nationally renowned touring musicians in a studio space and editing the multi-cam shoots into web ready packages that can be shared via the bands’ PR firms, music blogs, and social media, as well as hosted on our own site. (2012-2015)

Chief videographer and editor for LaundroMatinee, a music video blog feature based out of Indianapolis, IN. The blog is a feature of My Old Kentucky Blog and showcases live, intimate performances from nationally renowned independent musicians in unique environments. Duties involved include coordinating crew-members, creating content that satisfies the creative vision of the band and the label, and working with record labels and management to cross-promote and embed the completed work. (2008-Present)

Volunteer for the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, IN taking tickets and assisting festival goers (’04-’06) and as a member of the Airport Hospitality committee (’07-Present) greeting the filmmakers and guests of the festival at the airport and coordinating their transportation to the festival itself. (2004-Present)
